"Connection is not private" Error Message

Purpose

This article covers how to work around the various "connection is not private" or "connection is not secure" error messages when accessing certain pages on the Tri-County website.

Instructions

Google Chrome

  1. Click the Advanced button. (This button is usually located to the bottom left of the error message.)
  2. After the new text appears, click the link at the bottom that starts with "Proceed to...".

Microsoft Edge

  1. Click the Advanced button. (This button is usually located to the bottom left of the error message.)
  2. After the new text appears, click the link at the bottom that starts with "Continue to...".

Mozilla Firefox

  1. Click the Advanced button. (This button is usually located to the bottom right of the error message.)
  2. Click the Accept the Risk and Continue button.

Safari

  1. Click the Show Details button.
  2. After the new text appears, click the "visit this website" link. (This link is located at the end of the last paragraph.)
